OVERVIEW

This unique fancy dagger is replicated from an original knife that appears on page 154 of The Antique Bowie Knife Book (printed in 1990, one of the first books to showcase a large collection of some of the world’s finest Bowie's). The guard is recessed around the blade (see photos) and the steel scabbard slips inside. This is a big dirk, measuring over 10-1/2”, and was designed by an East coast cutler or surgical instrument maker to be stout but showy, with sterling silver hardware and ivory grips.

This replica has bone scales and nickel silver pommel and guard, and is faithful to the design of the original, with scalloped guard and sheath tip. Steel sheath has a natural, “antiqued” finish. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Arrives sharpened from the factory.

Can be personalized with up to 3 initials. Click here for details on our personalization service and return policy.
